Why can't I log in to my GameStrat account?
There are a few reasons you may have difficulty logging in, most of which you can resolve easily on your own.
Use the Correct Password in the Correct Place
There are multiple passwords associated with your GameStrat account - your Press Box WiFi password, Sideline WiFi password, and account password.
Press Box WiFi Password
Found printed on a sticker on your Press Box WiFi Antenna. On your press box iPads, select iPad Settings → WiFi and tap “GameStrat Press Box WiFi”. Enter this password for any iPads that will be in the press box for the entire game
Sideline WiFi Password
Found printed on a sticker on your Sideline WiFi Antenna. On your sideline iPads, select iPad Settings → WiFi and tap “GameStrat Sideline WiFi”. Enter this password for any iPads that will be on the sideline for the entire game
Account Password
Use this password to log in to your GameStrat account on the iPad and operating laptop at the start of the season. Someone on your team created this password, and we do not have access to it. If you’ve forgotten it, you will need to follow the “Forgot Password” steps.
“No Internet Connection”
GameStrat WiFi runs on a local network with no internet access. This means you can’t log in to your account while connected to the GameStrat network. If you’re trying to log in to your account for the first time on a device:
- Disconnect from the GameStrat Network.
- Connect to a network with internet access — a school network or phone hotspot both work.
- Log in to the GameStrat app.
- Once logged in, forget the network you were connected to and reconnect to the GameStrat WiFi for game use.
- You will only need to do this 1 time, as your account will remain logged in for the entirety of the season.
“Incorrect Password” or Forgot Password
- Tap "Forgot Password" on the login screen.
- Check your inbox for a password reset email. If it doesn't appear within a few minutes, check your spam folder.
- If no email arrives, please call us with your name, team name, and email address.
“No Valid Subscription” on first login
If you’re logging in for the first time and seeing this error, your account likely hasn't been activated yet. Activation occurs through onboarding completion when your account is created.
- Search your inbox for the subject line: "Get to know your new sideline replay system."
- Open that email and click the onboarding link. This step creates and activates your account.
- If you can't find the email, call us with your name, team name, and email address ready.
“Account not active” or subscription error
This will require assistance from a GameStrat team member. Please call us at 1-800-783-1968 x 1 between 9 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday, with extended hours on game days during the season.
